Mzbel joins Citi FM for ‘Help a Christmas Child’ on December 26
Ghanaian musician Belinda Nana Akua Amoah aka Mzbel will be joining Citi 97.3 FM for the 2017 ‘Help a Christmas Child’ project on Tuesday 26th December, 2017.
This year, the staff of Citi FM heads to Adamrobe at Nsawam-Aburi, a deprived community in the Eastern Region.
Mzbel whose birthday falls on the same day, will take the opportunity to celebrate her birthday with the under-privileged children and put smiles on their faces.
“It is my birthday and I am glad to be part of this project. It is joy seeing these children happy on my birthday,” she said.
The ‘16 Years’ singer also commended Citi FM for embarking on this project to make the children happy.
In the past years, showbiz personalities like Becca, Joselyn Dumas and Asem also joined Citi FM to other deprived communities for the ‘Help a Christmas Child’ project.
In 2015, the staff of the station visited Sota and Abonya; and in 2016 went to Manchie and Korleman.
The children, on both occasions had a lot to eat and drink, and were treated to great music and entertainment.
Currently, donations of rice, sugar, oil, canned food, milk, biscuits, toys and confectionery, are pouring in from individuals and groups.
Interested persons can still donate to the project in cash or kind by sending their donations to the front desk of Citi FM, which is located at Number 11 Dr Morton Street, behind the Adabraka Police Station.
