Bonyfied Concert: Ebony covers up for the second time
For the second time in a week, Ebony appeared on stage more covered up than she had been in the past.
The 90’s ‘bad gyal,’ born Priscilla Opoku Agyeman, was clad in a white dress in the first performance with Kurl Songx and more ‘decent’ black attire for the second performance.
This comes after few days ago, she wore similar ‘decent’ costumes at the launch f her ‘Bonyfied’ album at the Golden Tulip Hotel.
Ebony had in the past been seriously mauled for showing too much flesh and cleavage when performing on stage.
What may have been her worst experience of backlash was the criticisms that came after pictures that showed her vajayjay went viral. Most people including the MUSIGA President Obuor, gospel musician, Celestine Donkor and some religious personalities had advised her to be careful about how she dresses.
Ebony, has been tagged controversial because she uses double entendres and puns to capture people’s attention in her compositions.
She tipped by most music fans and pundits as one artiste who stands the chance of winning Artiste of the Year at the 2018 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.
According to them, she has endeared herself to the music audience with her great songs, she has gained popularity and has been one of the most visible artistes in 2017. With a recent release of her album and a concert, Ebony’s chances of winning more spurs in the coming years are high.
Ebony will be performing at this year’s Decemba 2 Rememba concert organised by Citi 97.3 FM. It will be held at the Accra International Conference Centre on 24th December, 2017.
Currently, Ebony’s ‘Hustle’ aka ‘Monni Me Dwa’ is among the biggest songs in Ghana and expected to make rotation on radio, TV and social function especially during the yuletide.
