The Eminence: Tommy Annan-Forson back to radio
Ace broadcaster Tommy Annan Forson, got behind the console and relived his old radio moments at the maiden edition of CITI TV’s ‘The Eminence.’
The Air Marshall as he was affectionately called when on radio, treated friends, protégés, industry connoisseurs and family to great music presentation at the Kempinski Gold Coast Hotel on Saturday, 18th November, 2017.
After the presentation, he also requested from the Programmes Manager of Citi 97. FM, Jessica Opare-Saforo, a slot to host a show on country music on Sundays.
Tommy Annan-Forson who started radio about 38 years ago, has won great spurs in broadcasting from the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation, Choice FM, Joy FM, to Radio XYZ.
His radio school, RABODEF, has also trained many brilliant broadcasters including Osei Kwame and Kojo Agyeman of Citi FM.
The CITI TV programme dubbed ‘The Eminence’ is aimed at celebrating and recognising the contributions of individuals who have impacted their various fields in a positive way.
Tommy Annan-Forson’s name will go down in history as the first personality to have been honoured at ‘The Eminence.’
Present the programme were personalities such as actor Kofi Adjorlolo, satirist Kwaku Sintim Misa, wife of the Vice-President, Samira Bawumia, Fritz Baffuor, JOT Agyemang, music producer Fred Kyei-Mensah, poet and playwright Chief Moomen, entertainment journalist Arnold Asamoah-Baidoo, among others.
Providing great music at the black-tie event was the Deep Wave band.
‘The Eminence’ is organised by CITI.
