Chris Attoh made Iflix ambassador
Ghanaian actor and broadcaster Chris Attoh, has been made Ghana’s ambassador for Iflix, a subscription video on-demand service.
At the official launch of Iflix at their office at East Legon in Accra on Tuesday, 5th September, 2017, the portal was introduced to the media and Chris was announced as its ambassador.
In his speech, Chris expressed the joy to be associated with the new form of technology that will be serving people across the globe, varied forms of entertainment content.
He said it was about time people embraced new technology to help market Ghanaian movies better to the world.
“Everything we put in our films…how many people are watching? How do we get our content to the world? Yes, there are other platforms but Iflix is here to expose us more to the world,” he said.
Iflix is a subscription video-on-demand service focused on emerging markets. Its regional headquarters for Asia is based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The site serves as a digital hosting and distribution platform for Western and Asian dramas obtained through partnerships with over 150 studios and content distributors globally.
One can have access to movies, music and other entertainment content by downloading the Iflix app on Google Play Store and subscribing to it.
There is free subscription for a month after which one pays to watch the content subsequently.
