Ebony hasn’t left Rufftown Records – management
Few weeks after it had been reported that Priscilla Opoku-Kwarteng aka Ebony Reigns had jilted Rufftown Records for a Nigerian record label, the latter has responded.
In a statement issued by Rufftown Records led by Bullet, the two parties still have a cordial working relationship.
“The management of Ebony Reigns wishes to inform all interested parties and persons that there is no truth in any of the issues raised in the said story and that the relationship between the management team and the artiste (Ebony Reigns) remains intact, solid, cordial, strong and unflinching,” it says.
It continues that Ebony has not signed on to any record label in Nigeria, contrary to earlier reports.
“For the avoidance of any doubt, let’s all be informed that Ebony Reigns has not signed, nor intends to sign on to any other label whether Nigerian or otherwise. The contract between Rufftown Records/Midastouch Inc. and Ebony Reigns remain intact and unchanged,” it states.
The management has therefore assured all fans and admirers of Ebony Reigns that there is no cause for alarm and that Ebony Reigns really reigns. They say fans and admirers should expect even greater releases from Ebony Reigns soon.
Ebony Reigns has smash hit songs like ‘Kupe,’ ‘Poison,’ and ‘Sponsor.’
