Events Republic makes strides in the entertainment industry
Organising events in Ghana is one of the arduous activities in the entertainment industry but Events Republic has brazened it out to put up quality shows.
Events Republic is a Strategic Marketing Communications Company that has specialty in Event Management, Events Logistics, Strategic Marketing, Media Buying & Advertising, Social Media Campaigns, Music Business Management and Marketing.
According to Mel Kwesi Davis, Chief Executive officer of the events company, it has not been easy putting together an event but with determination, they have been able to chalk some successes.
“We’ve had a lot of challenges but in spite of all that we have made great impact with the shows we have organised so far. We have greater things ahead and crave the indulgence of all stakeholders in the entertainment industry to lend us their support,” he told Citi Showbiz.
It has for the past years held innovative events in the country. In 2013, it organised the Big Brother Housemate Jam in Ghana sponsored by ARV Media (11 housemates from around Africa to celebrate with Selly the GH rep) at Excel Niteclub in Dzorwulu.
In 2015, Event Republic also hosted the Pre Republic Day Beach Rave sponsored by Quallo’s Productions (Shatta Wale /Yaa Pono/Gasmilla/Tinny etc) at La Pleasure Beach.
They were the first event company to put a Highlife artist as a headline to a beach event. This happened at the Valentine Beach Rave with Bisa K. Dei at the La Pleasure Beach in 2016.
The Founder’s Day Beach Jam which took place at La Pleasure Beach which took place on 21st September, 2016 was was fun and had massive support from Abbeam Institute of Technology. On 1st July 1st July, 2017, it was a great success for the Inter-Community Spar Gala in partnership with Kasapa FM.
It is also girding up for Naija-Ghana Independence Beach Rave on 1st October, 2017.
