Get ready to be treated with good music, comedy and poetry performed live from the studio of Citi 97.3 FM starting 17^th June, 2017.

‘Saturday Live,’ a programme eclectic entertainment show hosted by versatile broadcaster Kojo Akoto Boateng returns on 97.3 FM, revitalised.

In previous episodes the show thrilled listeners with an array of Ghana’s finest musicians, poets, comedians among others. Top musicians like Pat Thomas, Paulina Oduro, Obrafour, Okyeame Kwame, Kontihene, Gasmilla, MzBel, Rex Omar, Lucky Mensah, Wiyaala, Lawyer Ace Ankomah and the super versatile Kyekyeku have all featured on the show before.Logan 2017 movie trailer

On ‘Saturday Live,’ artists talk about their careers and perform live renditions of their works. The show discovered artistes like Six Strings, Koo Kumi, Adomaa, Nene Narh, Poetra Asantewa, Chief Moomen, Nana Kofi Sammy and Abibikasa, Dark Suburb, Sollo 7, Josh Black, Hashmullah, the Voice Trumpeter, Cabum and Kapun (sons of the legendary Alhaji K. Frimpong) and the Cleffs.      ‘Saturday Live’ introduced acts like Adomaa, Josh Black, Six Strings, Nene Narh and the others to Ghanaians.

They later had the opportunity to perform on Citi FM’s MOGO stage and other big stages. Adomaa won the 2016 VGMAs Unsung Artiste of the year while Six Strings has grown to be one of the most sought after live solo acts and the other guys are doing amazingly well too.
