The cast performed a gripping 15 minute version of their play which first staged at the National Theatre on the 4th and 5th of July.  The skit was an intense and exciting narrative of Ghana’s post-independence history. It was a fusion of music, dance, acting and poetry by Chief Moomen. It featured a rich display of Ghanaian culture and captured the country’s transition from independence into the forth republic.

The audience was thoroughly absorbed by the spectacle and as the curtain came down on the performance, they were on their feet with a rousing applause.  Among the dignitaries to grace the ceremony, organized by the National Development Planning Commission, were President Mahama and former presidents  Rawlings and Kuffour.
